Service and eligibility
BidWars provides paid digital map placement. Users must be at least 18 or the age of legal majority, legally able to contract, authorized to use the payment method, and permitted to use the service under applicable law. Organization bidders must have authority to act for that organization.
Digital placement only
A bid competes for a public country pin. It grants no land, ownership, sovereignty, citizenship, political recognition, endorsement, trademark right, security, investment, or guaranteed holding period.
Payments and ranking
Each country gets 5 free $0 bids before paid bidding is required, and each user can place only 1 free bid total. Free bids appear in rankings and contribute no revenue. Paid bids start at $2 for smaller countries and $5 for larger countries and are one-time whole-dollar USD payments. Paid bids must be verified through Dodo and matched to the product, currency, amount and checkout session. A paid bid can take over free bids. The highest eligible, non-reversed bid holds the country; earlier checkout creation and then unique ID break a tie.
Outbidding and refunds
A higher eligible bid may replace a holder at any time, including while another checkout is processing. Outbid or losing payments are not automatically refundable. Rights and remedies required by applicable law remain unaffected.
Permitted content
Users may submit a personal name, lawful alias, brand, or organization name they are authorized to use, plus a short lawful public label. Content must accurately describe the submitter and must not imply ownership of, authority over, or official endorsement by a country.
Prohibited content
Illegal activity; hate, harassment, threats or violence; sexual exploitation; extremist propaganda; fraud, phishing or money laundering; impersonation; private or sensitive data; malware or malicious links; spam; intellectual-property infringement; sanctions evasion; deceptive political claims; or content harmful to users, Dodo, the platform, or third parties is prohibited.
Prohibited manipulation
Users may not automate bids, coordinate fake bids, use unauthorized payments, abuse refunds or chargebacks, evade sanctions, bypass rate limits, create submissions to evade moderation, interfere with payment verification, manipulate rankings, probe security, or disrupt the service.
Review process
Every submission receives server-side validation for location, amount, label, bidder name and consent. Payments receive provider verification and duplicate-event protection. Reported, suspicious, unlawful, misleading, or high-risk content may receive manual review before or after display. Payment approval and content approval are separate.
Safety safeguards
The service uses signed Dodo webhooks, authenticated payment lookups, product and amount matching, whole-dollar and minimum-bid enforcement, rate limits, parameterized PostgreSQL queries, a restricted database role, encrypted connections, duplicate-event controls, and removal of refunded or disputed bids from eligibility. URL parameters alone cannot award a pin.
Reporting violations
Report suspected abuse to support@bidwars.wtf. Include the country, bidder name or label, page link or screenshot, reason, supporting evidence, and your contact information. Fraud, threats, illegal content, exposed personal data, payment abuse, and credible rights claims receive priority review.
Enforcement and appeals
Depending on severity, the operator may request evidence, hide or edit a label, remove a placement, restrict new submissions, suspend access, preserve relevant records, notify Dodo or authorities when required, or permanently block abuse. Severe violations may be removed immediately. Appeals may be emailed with the bid ID, country, explanation, and evidence; reinstatement is not guaranteed.

Supported countries, prices, ranking rules, features, and these terms may change. Material updates will be published here. Continuous service and permanent placement are not promised. Generalized map boundaries are informational and express no geopolitical position.
